So here it goes:
Lets settle with two facts firstly:
1. "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Right?
2. Corruption is based on lies and also destroys in a sense... But the point being that its far from good...
So now that is settled... Here goes the question:
When one sees truth, one gains knowledge right? And knowledge is sometimes described as a cause of pain, sorrow and so forth. Knowledge is also more commonly know to be power. ("Knowledge is power.")
So... To sum it up, it'd be Truth = Knowledge, Knowledge = Power, Knowledge = Cause of sorrow, hence Power = Cause of sorrow (Which would support the fact that power corrupts, hence causes sorrow)
Therefore it'll also mean that: Truth = Power
But that'll also mean that Truth = Cause of Sorrow
Wait a second... If, truth is power, it means that truth corrupts, the same as power corrupts? Therefore absolute truth corrupts absolutely as absolute power corrupts absolutely?
This concludes to two points:
1. Knowledge and truth causes sorrow, corruption and so forth. Although somewhat of a paradox, it makes one question, in that case, would ignorance be better than the truth? As it would cause so much pain, not only to yourself, but to others too?
2. When corruption is based on lies, its would mean that truth at times are lies, and lies truth... That is also true to a sense... but that would question the integrity of truth. Is there such a thing as an abosolute truth, a universal truth that is true at all perspectives?
I'll agree with you that its a very questionable... question... idea... but it does make one think... right? What you guys... and gals... think/conclude are up to you, but its would be very nice if you all post a comment to show your point of view. Agree or disagree with me as you please, but the main idea is to see more perspectives to this

Computer games don't affect kids. If Pacman would have affected us as children, we would now run around in darkened rooms, munching pills and listening to repetetive music.

There are some things in this world that go way beyond human understanding things that cannot be explained, things that most people dont wanna know about, that is where we come in.
